๐ Apex Live Program Finally Rolling Out?
Plus: Goldโs seasonal rally starts this week
Hi everyone, another week is upon us and the markets are open, so let's get into it.
Lots of traders are waiting to be moved to Apexโs controversial new live program, details of which were revealed a few weeks ago. The wait looks set to continue a little longer, however Apex now say it "anticipates all traders will be onboarded within the next 30 days
Many traders remain unhappy as they are required to forfeit their simulated profits in exchange for a single $3,000 live account.

Despite the update, most traders remain sceptical of the program.
๐ข Firm Announcements
โข FundedNext experienced a temporary futures trading halt due to an internal error before restoring service. The firm also continued expanding integration with FNmarkets, allowing eligible rewards to be transferred directly without external payment rails or conversion fees.
โข The5ers added full TradingView integration, allowing traders to analyze and execute trades directly from the TradingView interface.
โข E8 Markets announced upcoming Hyperliquid integration, bringing 24/7 trading access across multiple asset classes.
โข Finotive Funding announced a major restructuring of its ecosystem, separating Markets and Futures into standalone businesses while reducing challenge pricing on the Funding side. The firm says lower infrastructure costs will be passed directly to traders through cheaper accounts.

๐ Red Folder News
Here are this weekโs red folder news events. A quiet week on the calendar. The main news releases of the week are US GDP and the Core PCE Index, which is the Fedโs preferred gauge of inflation. Events in Iran will likely remain the biggest driver of markets this week.

๐ Markets
The June Swoon
Another up-week for the S&P500. Thatโs 11 out of the last 12 weeks green. Surely time for a bit of a pullback? Historically (over the last 75 years!) this week kicks off one of the worst 10 day periods of the year.

That 1997 analogue
Before you press the short button, letโs check how the 1997 analogy is playing out. Chart shows S&P500 2026 v 1997. Still pretty much tracking perfectly.

Another leg higher? or?
Global semiconductor sales remain absolutely parabolic. If/when this chart reverses, kiss the equity markets goodbye.

A good week to buy gold.
On a 20 year lookback, this week typically marks the low of the year for gold. Currently 25% off its January high, a healthy discount for the everything hedge.

OK youโre all caught up. Have a good week!
