Lets get ourselves prepared for the week ahead!

Hi guys, it’s Kieran! Another week is upon us, so lets get prepared for the week ahead.

πŸ“’ Prop Firm Industry News

Tradeify, one of the largest futures firms, has removed their weekly payout window and now offers on demand payouts.

As more and more firms enter the futures space, competition continues to heat up, with even the largest firms focused on continually improving their offering.

After his $2.5 million payout from Apex, here’s Jadecap’s appearance on Words of Rizdom last week talking about it. Inspiring!

From Payout Junction, here are the firms who paid out the most over the last 7 days πŸ†οΈ.

πŸ•œ Red Folder News

Here are this week’s red folder news events. The Fed meeting on Wednesday is the key event of the week, where market expectation are for the Fed to keep interest rates unchanged and to maintain its β€œwait and see approach”.

Obviously any changes to this outlook will cause huge market reactions.

πŸ“ˆ The Macro View

Market Sentiment continues to reset

Another big green week in the equity markets. The S&P500 is now +18% off its lows and only 8.5% off all-time highs. We are leaving behind fearful sentiment. Another big green week and FOMO will begin kick-in and likely move us swiftly to greed.

Record retail inflows

JP Morgan note that retail inflows into stocks and ETFs in April was actually the largest net buying on record. No fear in this cohort.

European outperformance is back.

Elsewhere, the DAX is not far from ATHs again. Impressive!

Gold outflows - First sign of cracks in the raging bull

1st weekly outflow from gold since January. Lets see if the dip buyers show up or we test the longs that bought into this rally late.

OK guys that’s it for this week. Stay safe out there and i’ll see you next week!
